A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME
Sakia was born in Miami, Fl. & raised in Dania Beach, Fl. by her mother and stepfather. She carried a quick sharp tongue for as long as she can remember and was often told, as young girl, that her mouth would get her in trouble. What she didn't know was the same mouth would be what she used to inspire so many people.
Sakia has spoken encouragement, hope and motivation into so many people from such a young age.

She had grown to be a very confident young mother of three beautiful daughters so it was surprising to hear she ran from her gift. Thats right, the more she realized her purpose, the more she convinced herself that she wasn't ready. She was convinced that she could run away from it. Then her mindset changed when she was faced with the biggest obstacle in her life and HANDLED IT LIKE A CHAMP!

It was then that she realized she could teach others what she knew and the power of perspective. It was a gift, given by God, that people needed.
In 2014, I realized that I was a magnet for solving people's problems. Something about my personality attracted people who wanted to unload their hearts. Even strangers! Whoever brought their issues to me, left the conversation feeling inspired, determined or encouraged.
In 2015, my life began to change drastically. After being a wife for 6 years, it became clear to me that my marriage was over. I was brave enough to express to him that we needed to go our separate ways but afraid of being alone, disappointing my children and breaking up a stable home for them. Ultimately, it came to an end. I went from being a wife to being a single mother raising 3 daughters in a single parent household. But the thing I feared the most, brought me the most peace. I wasn't sad, I wasn't angry, I was at peace. No matter what anyone says, there is nothing like a PEACE OF MIND.
Around this time, my thoughts became clearer and I wanted to focus on my finances. With the help of a friend, I began the process of repairing my credit. The process was not as hard as I thought it would be. It wasn't a perfect journey but I began to reap the rewards of my efforts. Great! I'm great!! 10 months later....

In 2016, the changes elevated. My job with a well known corporation came to an end after 12 years. Can you imagine? Single mother, with 3 children and my main source of income has ended. I went 3 months without full time employment and my children never missed a meal! Every bill was paid, ON TIME! (Except Comcast; I always forgot the due date! Lol) Soon after, I landed a job paying WAY more than my last one. I also went into business helping others repair their credit. I was fulfilled!! The people around me had no idea how I made it through. Why wasn't I constantly crying and panicking? Why didn't I ask anyone for financial support? How could I be happy in what appeared to be a horrifying reality? It was my mindset! Without the proper perspective, I wouldn't have made it.

Now I dedicate majority of my time to helping mothers do the same thing I did. Rebuilding their lives by changing their mindset, shifting their perspective, getting their credit in order, and transitioning with their children.
